I watch the sun lighten up the trees, in the morning while the world awakes.
I enjoy the silence and the peace, the beautiful colors, my breath it takes.

My mind drifts off to a place unknown.
I turn my head around for you, are you there to follow?

In this place so close in mind, all seasons delighting our skin.
We lean back, fully aware of the grass we’re sinking in.

By our four legged friends accompanied, we lie there in peace.
Their shining coats and fulfilled eyes, nothing ever felt more at ease.

As we know each others words, there is no need for us to speak.
Listening to mother natures sounds, for a moment nothing else we seek.

We all share a common language, daring to feel free.
Our journey guided by the wind, I dare you to follow me.

I know eventually the sun will set and reality will crack.
But we figured out the road today, so we can always come back.

So from now on, where ever you will go, where ever you will be,
Follow the sunbeams on the trees and remember you’ll meet me.

For many years to come, until we’re grey and old.
We can meet each other there, in warmth and in cold.

Whatever life may bring us, whether we’ll be far away or home.
Whatever life may bring us, we’ll never stand alone…
